For Taylor, the best travel recommendations have never come from a list. They come from being there.

Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, Taylor's relationship with travel began early, but living abroad ultimately shaped the way she sees the world. She spent two years in the South of France studying European humanities and French, six months in Italy studying Italian, and later completed her university studies in Thailand. Europe has remained a second home ever since, where she now spends every summer and alternating winters with her family, an experience that has given her a deep and enduring connection to its culture, food, language and way of life.

More than a decade into her career as a luxury travel advisor, Taylor still spends a significant part of each year traveling—revisiting destinations she knows intimately, discovering new ones, experiencing hotels firsthand and cultivating relationships with the people behind them.

That firsthand knowledge is at the heart of TaylorMade Travel. Taylor wants to know more than whether a hotel is beautiful. She wants to know which room to book, what the service actually feels like, whether the location makes sense and, most importantly, who it's right for.

As a mother of two daughters who have grown up exploring the world alongside her, Taylor also understands that luxury means something different on every trip. Sometimes it's extraordinary access or an exceptional hotel; other times, it's simply knowing every detail has been taken care of so you can be fully present.

The best travel advisor isn't there to tell you where everyone else is going. She's there to know where you should go.
